Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ITGA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ITGA1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher ITGA1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ITGA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
OV, LUSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where ITGA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
