Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ITFG2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ITFG2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher ITFG2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ITFG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, BRCA, and COAD are the cancer types where ITFG2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
