Across TCGA patient cohorts, IST1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,119 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible IST1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PBK, TTK, and ATP6V0D1. Each is linked with IST1 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both IST1-to-partner and partner-to-IST1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, IST1 versus PBK in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of -0.36.
