Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ISCU Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ISCU data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher ISCU Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ISCU expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC, LUAD, and COAD are the cancer types where ISCU Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
