Across TCGA patient cohorts, IRF8 protein abundance is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 21,032 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible IRF8-associated proteins across cancer lineages are ANKRD44, WAS, and INPP5D_S971. Each is linked with IRF8 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both IRF8-to-partner and partner-to-IRF8 results are reported.
