Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IRF1-AS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IRF1-AS1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher IRF1-AS1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IRF1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA and COAD are the cancer types where IRF1-AS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
