Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IPO9 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IPO9 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IPO9 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IPO9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, PDAC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where IPO9 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
