Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, INTU RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 8 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of INTU’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where INTU RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types INTU is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KICH and BRCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

LIHC, KICH, and BRCA are the cancer types where INTU tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
