Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, INSL5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated INSL5 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher INSL5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated INSL5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC and LUAD are the cancer types where INSL5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
