Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, INPP5A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated INPP5A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher INPP5A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated INPP5A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

UVM, UCEC, and LGG are the cancer types where INPP5A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
