Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, INPP5A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated INPP5A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher INPP5A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated INPP5A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.
UCEC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where INPP5A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
