Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, INHBC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated INHBC data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher INHBC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated INHBC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
THYM and SKCM are the cancer types where INHBC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
