Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, ING2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated ING2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher ING2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated ING2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and UCEC are the cancer types where ING2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
