Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, INCENP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated INCENP data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher INCENP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated INCENP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, READ, and CESC are the cancer types where INCENP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
