Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL6RP1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IL6RP1 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher IL6RP1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL6RP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and UCS show a favorable association.
BLCA, THYM, and HNSC are the cancer types where IL6RP1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
