Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL36B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IL36B data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher IL36B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL36B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV, HNSC, and CESC are the cancer types where IL36B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
