Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL2RG Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IL2RG data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher IL2RG Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL2RG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and UCEC are the cancer types where IL2RG Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
