Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL23A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IL23A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher IL23A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL23A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC and BLCA are the cancer types where IL23A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
