Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IL1A data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher IL1A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP, SKCM, and PRAD are the cancer types where IL1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
