Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL18R1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IL18R1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher IL18R1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL18R1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and UCEC show a favorable association.
PDAC, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where IL18R1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
