Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL18BP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IL18BP data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher IL18BP Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL18BP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SARC, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where IL18BP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
