Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL17B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IL17B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher IL17B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL17B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, ESCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where IL17B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
