Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IL12A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IL12A data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher IL12A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IL12A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
PRAD and SKCM are the cancer types where IL12A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
