Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IKZF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IKZF1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher IKZF1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IKZF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
ESCA, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where IKZF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
