Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IKBKG RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IKBKG data layer compared with 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher IKBKG RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IKBKG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and SKCM show a favorable association.
SCLC, SKCM, and COAD are the cancer types where IKBKG RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
