Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IKBIP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IKBIP data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher IKBIP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IKBIP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
SCLC, BLCA, and KIRC are the cancer types where IKBIP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
