Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGSF23 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGSF23 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher IGSF23 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGSF23 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC and OV show a favorable association.
CESC, KIRP, and KIRC are the cancer types where IGSF23 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
