Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGSF11 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGSF11 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IGSF11 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGSF11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where IGSF11 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
