Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGLV9-49 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGLV9-49 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher IGLV9-49 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGLV9-49 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUSC, SARC, and LUAD are the cancer types where IGLV9-49 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
