Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGLV3-27 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGLV3-27 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IGLV3-27 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGLV3-27 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where IGLV3-27 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
