Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGLJ5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGLJ5 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher IGLJ5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGLJ5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.

BLCA, OV, and ESCA are the cancer types where IGLJ5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
