Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGKV1D-8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGKV1D-8 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher IGKV1D-8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGKV1D-8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
