Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGKV1D-17 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGKV1D-17 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher IGKV1D-17 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGKV1D-17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SKCM, LUAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where IGKV1D-17 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
