Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGKV1-27 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGKV1-27 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher IGKV1-27 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGKV1-27 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.
UCEC, CCRCC, and HNSC are the cancer types where IGKV1-27 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
