Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHV7-81 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGHV7-81 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IGHV7-81 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV7-81 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and PAAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, PAAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where IGHV7-81 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
