The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IGHV4-28 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV4-28 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.
HNSC are the cancer types where IGHV4-28 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
