Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHV3-43 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGHV3-43 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher IGHV3-43 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV3-43 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and HNSC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where IGHV3-43 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
