Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHV2OR16-5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGHV2OR16-5 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher IGHV2OR16-5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV2OR16-5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and BRCA show a favorable association.

KICH, HNSC, and ACC are the cancer types where IGHV2OR16-5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
