Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHV1OR15-2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGHV1OR15-2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher IGHV1OR15-2 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV1OR15-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.

HNSC, SKCM, and BRCA are the cancer types where IGHV1OR15-2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
