Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHV1-3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGHV1-3 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher IGHV1-3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHV1-3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.
UCEC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where IGHV1-3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
