Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHMBP2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGHMBP2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher IGHMBP2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHMBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and CCRCC show a favorable association.
PDAC, UCEC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where IGHMBP2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
