Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGHD1-7 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IGHD1-7 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher IGHD1-7 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGHD1-7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and SKCM show a favorable association.

COAD, MESO, and LUAD are the cancer types where IGHD1-7 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
