Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGFBP7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGFBP7 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher IGFBP7 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGFBP7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, COAD, and CESC are the cancer types where IGFBP7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
