Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IGFBP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IGFBP2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher IGFBP2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IGFBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SCLC and UCEC are the cancer types where IGFBP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
