Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IFNA6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IFNA6 data layer compared with 9 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher IFNA6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IFNA6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC and SKCM are the cancer types where IFNA6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
