Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IFNA21 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IFNA21 data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher IFNA21 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IFNA21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA are the cancer types where IFNA21 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
