Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IFNA17 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IFNA17 data layer compared with 11 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher IFNA17 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IFNA17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where IFNA17 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
