Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IFITM3P5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IFITM3P5 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher IFITM3P5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IFITM3P5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and SKCM show a favorable association.

LGG, KIRC, and UVM are the cancer types where IFITM3P5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
