Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IFI35 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IFI35 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher IFI35 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IFI35 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
COAD, PRAD, and STAD are the cancer types where IFI35 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
