Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IER3IP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IER3IP1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher IER3IP1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IER3IP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where IER3IP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
